Read MoreMechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) is a system designed to provide a continual supply of clean, freshly filtered, pre-warmed air.
We design, supply, and install Heat Recovery Ventilation Systems throughout Dublin and the surrounding counties. Our experienced design team provides bespoke solutions for each and every customer.
Heat recovery ventilation systems are an energy recovery ventilation system that provides homeowners with optical living conditions in each room of their home. The heat from the extracted air passes through a ventilation unit, in turn recovering that heat and transferring it to the air supply entering the dwelling. This fresh clean filtered heated air enters the dwelling providing the occupants with a more comfortable living environment.
Due to the increasing regulations, thermal efficiency, and airtightness of houses it is a must that correct ventilation design is carried out. Airtightness and ventilation go together. If ventilation design is not considered it can lead to poor air quality, can significantly increase the effects of asthma and other respiratory problems, condensation, mould growth, unpleasant smells, and a build-up of toxic gases.
We would recommend an airtightness test is performed first to determine if your house is suitable for this type of ventilation. Consideration should also be given to solid fuel stoves and fireplaces which require designed ventilation sources.
At Ramor Renewables we work with high quality products such as Vent-Axia products for ventilation and Pro Air products on the Heat Recovery both well known brands manufactured in Ireland and Britain.
